MedSoft® offers an image capture system that provides the capability of acquiring images from many sources into the system..
To capture an image means to acquire an image from a place and transfer it to another.
The place from where the image comes is the source; the place to where it goes is the destination.
What you can do with the MedSoft®: image capture system is:
To insert images from the Hard Drives (HD) or floppy disks.
To capture images from ultrasound devices and transfer them in real-time to your documents or reports.
To capture images from mini cameras attached to any optical device like digestive or bronchial endoscopy, rectumsigmoidoscopy, colposcopy, microscopy of clinical and pathological analysis, VCR (videocassette recorders), DVDs, tomography, magnetic resonance, X-Rays, Osseo densitometer and any other device that produces images and has an external output. These images can be seen from inside MedSoft® in real-time and stored in documents and albums.
To prepare image albums
To capture a series of images for later selection.
To store images in the database
To capture images through operating the capture device by pedal while away from the computer.

Image capture is the process of transferring an image from one place (source) to the other (destination).
