Patient's Console.Overview

what is Patient’s console?

The Patient’s console is tools whose purpose is to allow a quick view on the patient’s information. See the Patient’s console window.

How the Patient’s console first came up?

MedSoft® is a system with a highly detailed and structured database. The information is thoroughly particularized and sometimes this type of detailing can be a bit cumbersome for the user, making the system too complex and hard to operate.

In order to minimize this problem, the system must have an interface that facilitates the operation.

MedSoft® has initially developed an interface based on the Windows Explorer, with folder on the left side and records on the right side. This structure, now called MSExplorer , has innumerable advantages that can be seen on the appropriate help topic. However, MSExplorer ended up becoming a very useful tool for operating with records, but not so practical when it came to doctors or professional attending patients.

To make this task easy, it was created the Patient’s console. It is still possible to attend patients via MSExplorer assistance (see Activity), but this utility tends to become obsolete for medical attendance. On the other hand, it can be very useful for database search and analysis.
